Payment & Cancellation

Payment Terms

All reservations made through this website must be accompanied by valid credit card details and the card will promptly be charged the full value of the booking (usually within 24hrs). A 2.5% surcharge applies to all credit card payments. 

The prices indicated are per room or bed, for the number of people and the date(s) selected previously, unless otherwise specified (packages). 

All rates are quoted in NZ dollars on a per night basis and include 15% GST. All accounts must be settled directly with Waitomo Village Chalets in New Zealand dollars. 

You must be 18yrs or over to make a reservation. Proof of ID may be required on arrival and presentation of a credit card (it does not need to be the same card as used for booking). 

Cancellation & Refund Policy

If your booking was made directly with the property (including bookings made by phone/email and on our website, unless marked as non-refundable), a 10% administration fee (minimum $20) applies if you cancel at least 72hrs prior to your arrival date; if you cancel less than 72hrs prior to arrival or do not arrive for your booking, a 100% cancellation fee applies.

Group booking cancellations must be received no less than 7 days prior to arrival for a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations that are received 7 days or less will incur a charge for the first night on all accommodation booked. Cancellations received 2 days or less or no shows will incur a charge for all accommodation booked.

 

If you have booked a non-refundable rate, a 100% cancellation fee applies at any time.
